Kespat Oy was founded in 1984 by Kimmo Helke, M.Sc., who previously worked as a patent examiner in the Finnish Patent Office.
Kespat Oy has established a strong position for itself locally, with many long-term clients. We appreciate the trust they have shown in our company and thank them for helping us to grow.
Today, we have an experienced, expert staff that includes three patent attorneys, who handle patents, utility models, trademarks, designs, and related matters.

Kespat Oy ia a European pioneer in the online filing of patent applications. On 16 May 2002, we made the first electronic validation of a European patent in a member state. Today, we file all patent applications electronically online, whenever this is possible, i.e. at present, when filing applications for Finnish and European patents. We intend to continue to participate fully in the ongoing expansion of the web-based system.
